Frederick
De Leon (Barbington Davies)
The body of Frederick De Leon, born Barbington Davies, to
Satta Draper and Samuel Davies was found on February 15, 2009.
He
will be laid to rest Saturday, March 7, 2009. Service
will start at 9:00 AM. The Wake keeping will be on
Friday March 6th. Starting at 8:00 PM.
As
of now, the cause of death is unknown. A Missing Person Report
was file, by mother, Satta Draper. All efforts are in progress
to determine how his death came to be. Both services will
be held at the Church of the Living God, 2135 S. 61st Street,
Philadelphia, Pa 19142.
Frederick,
affectionately called Lahai, by his family members, was born
on September 25, 1979. He was a promising young man. His first
short story was published, at 17. He later, at 23, went on
to publish 2 books. The books are entitled:(Rebellion of the
Light and That We Might Live). He also wrote and published
articles on many subjects ranging from International Relations
to Abstract Arts.
He
was a devoted Christian, who did a lot of fellowship work
for Africans for many years.
His
death is a major loss to us all. He had a lot to offer. May
the family be in our prayers?
