 Hon. Momoh V. Corneh
Inna Lillahi Wa Inna ilayhi raji’un (We belong to God and to Him we shall return).
It is with heavy heart that the Corneh, Dorley, Sheriff and Damaro families announce the passing away of Hon. Momoh V. Corneh of the City of Kakata, Margibi County. He was the Relieving Commissioner of Margibi County. This sad event occurred on Friday, April 23, 2021 at the SOS Hospital in Monrovia, Liberia.
Momoh was a people’s person that spoke his mind without fear or favor. As a life-long resident of Kakata City, he was a well-known businessman in the City for over forty-five years. His love for music led him to establish one of very first music studio in Kakata, in the late ‘70s.
Brother Momoh, as he was affectionately called by family members, was a devout servant of God, who embraced the Islamic faith at an early age. He graduated from KRTTI, in Kakata. He was a father, brother, uncle, cousin, and a dependable leader that the entire family looked up to for guidance.
Brother Momoh is survived by his mother, Hajah Kanfee Dorley-Corneh; children; sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and a host of other relatives in the United States of America and Liberia. He was predeceased by his father, the late Alhaji Varmuyah Corneh, former Chairman of the National Muslim Council of Liberia
