The Nelson and Cooper families regret to announce - with profound sorrow - the untimely death of their son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and uncle, Montel MacArthur Cooper, affectionately called D-Mac, Macki-D, Monte-mo, Teli-Te.

This sad event occurred on April 13, 2021, at 6:45 PM (18:45) at the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (USA).

Montel MacArthur Cooper leaves to mourn his lovely mother, Mrs. Johnetta Nelson Cooper, father, Mr. Wesley A. Cooper Sr., brother, Wesley A. Cooper Jr., sister, Krystal-Ann Cooper, grandmother Mrs. Lois W. Nelson, aunties, Lois S. Nelson, Dolly Nelson Nelvik, Frances Elizabeth Nelson Sebwe, Bertha Stewart Sawyer, Evelyn Tubman, Sonia Cooper Weeks and Cheryl Cooper Morgan, uncles, Madison Clarke, Hixson Pierre, J Edwin Nelson Jr, Gabriel Tucker, Carl Cooper, Jon Cooper and a host of cousins other relatives and friends in the United States, Europe, Canada, and Liberia.
