 Counselor Eugene Cooper
The Augustus W. Cooper, Harris, Mason, and the Ware-Benson families painfully announce the death, in his 75th year, of their father, brother, uncle, grandfather, cousin and nephew: Counselor Eugene Augustus Cooper.
This sad event occurred Thursday, May 6, 2021, at the hour of 6:37 PM at the Kingsborough Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York (USA), following a brief illness.
The late Counselor Cooper was a graduate of the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law; he served as Deputy Minister of Justice for Codification and represented Liberia at several major international conferences, as well as a lead negotiator on behalf of his country.
Counselor Cooper is survived by his children Eugene Augustus Cooper, Jr. and Ivy Zoe Cooper; his brother Hon. TQ Harris; 15 brothers and sisters, aunties, uncles, grandchildren, Nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends in the United States, Europe and Liberia.
