It
is with great sadness to announce that our mother Mrs. Gladys
Elizabeth Moore Clinton, of Edina City, Grand Bassa Co. Liberia
, West Africa passed away on Monday November 10th, 2008 11p.m.
at the East Orange General Hospital in East Orange New Jersey
, with 6 of her children and many grandchildren at her bedside.
Mrs.
Gladys E. Clinton is survived by eight of her eleven children
Rev. Rose Elizabeth Clinton-Kamara and spouse S.Buster Kamara
SR., Elder Rev. Adolphus Vanlee Clinton and wife Evangelist
Samaria Khoury-Clinton, Evangelist Esther Clinton King-Dennis
and spouse Samuel U. Dennis, Mrs. Louise Sarah Clinton, Mrs.
Gladys Regina Clinton-Massaley and spouse Mr. Massaley, Rev.
Marilyn Victoria Clinton, J. Randolph C. Clinton and Ms. Macdilla
Walker, daughter in-law to be, and Mrs. AlisaMaria Adebamowo
and spouse Pius Adebamowo, a foster child Mr. Abraham Summerville,
Twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren
and one great-great grandchild.
Mrs.
Gladys E. Clinton was predeceased by her husband Elder Rev.
Joseph Thomas Clinton, three of her children Mrs. Catherine
Burline Clinton Ajose and husband Mr. David Ajose, Mr. Joseph
Thomas Clinton Jr., Mr. John McDavid Clinton and four granddaughters.
She
leaves to mourn her Sister Mrs. Mariah White of Grand Bassa
County , Liberia, brother in-law, George Clinton, many nieces,
nephews, cousins and friends and other family members in Liberia,
London, Canada, and America .
Wake
Keeping:
A service of prayer, songs and tributes will be held on Saturday
Nov.29th 2008 from 8p.m to 11p.m at Holy Trinity Lutheran
Church -- 153 Glenwood Ave. East Orange , New Jersey 07017
Funeral:
Funeral service for our mother will be held at the United
Methodist Church in Edina City in Grand Bassa Co. Liberia
West Africa where she will be taken and laid to rest by her
predeceased husband, children, and grandchildren at a later
date.
