Spencer Momo Kanagie Clarke

The Washington, Mamey, Wreh and Clarke families announce with profound sadness the passing of their husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, Spencer Momo Kanagie Clarke, in his 80th year.  This sad event occurred on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 in Monrovia, Liberia. “Boy Spence," as he was affectionately known by his family, is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Mabel Donyen Wreh Clarke, his children, Morris Clarke (Rena), Diallo G. Clark (Mary), Spencer Kanagie Clarke II (AmiCietta), Suku Alfred Clarke and Mamay Clarke; grandchildren Mabel, Melvin, Bernice, Natalie, Jassah and Juah; great-grandson, Eric; mother, Christiana Clark, sisters, Lady Paye, Christine Clark-Mensah (Darlington) and Sharon Clark; brothers, Sarnoe Mamey (Sata), Everett Clark (Estella), Edison Clark (Bendu), Emmanuel Clark (Hawa) and Gerald Clark; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Due to the restrictions on gatherings and the rise in Covid cases in Liberia, a private funeral service and interment will be held in Arthington.
