Rowena Pamela Cooper Buckman

Sunrise: March 10, 1966
Sunset: July 29, 2021

“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty” Psalm 91:1

It is with great sadness that the Buckman, Cooper, Grigsby, Krangar, Brown and Madson families announce the home going of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunty, niece and sister, Mrs. Rowena Pamela Cooper-Buckman, affectionately called RC.  Her transition to glory took place on July 29, 2021 at 9:45 p.m. in Germany. RC, who was surrounded by the love and support of her family, was in her 56th year.

RC was a strong woman. She touched the lives of many people, made friends wherever she went and exuded a positive, passionate and exuberant spirit.

Mrs. Rowena Pamela Cooper-Buckman leaves to mourn her loss, her husband Mr. Charles Buckman; their three children: Chucky, Charles and Warren; her mother, Mrs. Rhoda Brown Cooper; her brothers: E. Delano Cooper, Warren H. Cooper, Jr, Arnold V. Cooper, Edwin Adolphus Cooper and Sorbor Richelieu Cooper; her sisters: Malvina A Cooper Sonpon and Winnis H. Cooper, and a host of many extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Mr. Warren H. Cooper, Sr.

The feeling of RC’s loss is immeasurable, but the imprints she has left on our hearts are indelible. Sleep on beautiful soul!

The mortal remains of Rowena Pamela Cooper-Buckman left Germany for Liberia on August 14, 2021, and arrived at RIA on August 15, 2021.
