With immeasurable sadness, the Browns, Banks, and Chesson families of Brewerville, Liberia announce with great sadness the passing of our Wife, Mother Sister, Grandmother, Aunty and Friend, Mrs. Cerue Pioneer Brown Banks …. aka “PIO”. This devastating event occurred on June 7, 2021 in Monrovia, Liberia.
On that fateful morning on earth but glorious day in Heaven, “PIO” was reunited with her parents, Deacon Jerry C. Brown and Deaconess Mother Cora Louise Chesson Brown. Two sisters, Ms. Edna Brown, Mrs. Lillian Darling Brown-Kamara, and her baby Banks.
PIO embraced the Christian relation at an early age. She was a devoted servant of God. She worked tirelessly with the Monday Prayer Band of Brewerville. PIO was loving , caring, and very friendly. A patriotic citizen of the City of Brewerville. A member of the Golden Girls Club of Brewerville where she gave provisions to the needy. PIO was a member of the alumni Association of Suehn Mission.
She leaves to mourn her lose and forever cherish her memory, her husband of many years Mr. Roosevelt A. Banks I, Her four loving children: Tracy Neermana Banks, Enid Kamah Banks, Roosevelt Faso Banks II, and Ansumana Bonny Banks. Seven grandchildren, Three Brothers: Mr. Jerry C. Brown, Mr. George Brown and Mr. Albert Brown. Four sisters: Counsellor Rev. Dr. Pearl Brown Bull, Mrs. Musu Hannah Brown Sando, Mrs. Joyce Brown Armah and Ms. Sharon Brown. Three sisters-in-law, Lisa Brown, Catherine Brown and Rachel Brown. Three brothers -in-law Counsellor Joseph Sando, Mr. Foday Kamara and Mr. James Armah. One ageable Aunty Bishop Mother Rachel Chesson Brown. Nieces, Nephews, loving Cousins, Nieces and Nephews in- law, The Banks Family, and a host of other relatives and loving friends.

The body of the late Cerue Brown Banks (PIO) will be removed from the St. Moses Funeral parlors, Somalia Drive @ the hour of 8am on Friday, June 25, 2021 and taken to the Burns-Phelps Memorial United Methodist Church in the City of Brewerville.
Funeral Services at 10am Friday, June 25, 2021. Vision TV will stream the entire program.
