Mr. Harris Kpehe Ballah Sr.

Psalm 90: “Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations. Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.”

With our deepest sorrow, the Ballah and Kpehe families announce the death of our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, Mr. Harris Kpehe Ballah Sr. This sad event occured on June 20th, 2021 6:45 PM at ELWA Hospital in Monrovia, Liberia due to health complications.

Mr. Ballah as he was affectionately called, was born in Fassavolu, Lofa County on November 9th, 1947 unto the union of Kpanah Kemah Kpehe and Kloe Kpehe. Our late father was a professional banker who started his career as a vault manager at Tradevco Bank in Liberia for over 25 years. He was also a businessman, he owned Kemah Enterprise and partnered in a used car business and tissue factory. During the Liberian Civil War, Mr. Ballah relocated his family to Ghana, then to the United States of America for a better life. He shifted to Minnesota where he worked at Wells Fargo Bank for 15 years until his retirement. After his retirement, Mr. Ballah moved to Liberia. He frequently traveled to and from the United States just to spend time with his children, grandchildren, family and friends. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, patience and love for others.

Mr. Ballah was predeceased by his parents Kpanah Kemah Kpehe and Kloe Kpehe, his younger brother Edwin Jallah Kpehe and sister Jenneh Kloe Kpehe. He is survived by his children Jenneh K. Ballah, Mrs. Kpanah Ballah Momolu, Dr. Henryatta L. Ballah, Deddeh H. Ballah, Kadayatue M. Ballah, Harris K. Ballah Jr, Rev. Kpehe P. Ballah, Patience T. Ballah, Kemah L. Ballah, Harriet R. Ballah , 22 grandchildren, 1 great grand, brother Henry Kpehe, sister Sayan Kpehe, nieces and nephew, cousins, and host of relatives and friends in Liberia, The United States, and Great Britain.

Viewing of the body and funeral service will take place Saturday July 17th, 2021 @Abraham Robert Funeral Home Stephen A. Tolbert Estate (Somalia Drive, Gardensville, Monrovia, Liberia) beginning at 9:30 AM.

Interment will follow right after at Johnsonville Cemetery, Johnsonville Township, Montserrado County.
