Burl Jonathan Allen Jr.

The Witherspoon & Allen family regrets to announce the death of Burl Jonathan Allen Jr. This sad event occurred on July 12, 2008 at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, Ghana.

Burl Allen, Jr. affectionate called “Big Burl or Junior Boy, by his family & friends, will be greatly missed. He was pre-deceased by his father Burl Jonathan Allen, SR. He leaves to mourn his mother Beatrice Allen, siblings: Musu A-Blake, Ian Allen, Jimmy Bracewell, Bernadine A-Peabody, Beatrice Messie Allen, Brenda A-Williams, C.Burgess Allen, Charles Pianto Allen & Hawa Allen, including his family in Ghana, “Mafala, Pennie Nagbe & Ezekiel Zinnah, and a host of other relatives.

Bulr J. Allen Jr. body was flown to Monrovia from Accra on Friday, July 25, 2008, with his sister Bernadine Allen-Peabody and was taken to Bedell Funeral Home (Airfield new road).

The body will be taken from the funeral home on at 9:30 AM on Friday, August 8, 2008 and taken to Good Shephard Episcopal Church, Paynesville, Liberia. Services will start at 10:30 AM and burial will be held in Brewerville, Liberia, near his father Burl Jonathan Allen, Sr.
