ETNA SCOTT ACOLATSE

With thanksgiving to God, the Acolatse, Scott and Deshield families announce the passing of ETNA SCOTT ACOLATSE on the morning of January 4th, 2009 at The Washington Adventist Hospital in Takoma Park, Maryland. She is survived by her children Clarence K. Acolatse, Elliott G.C. Acolatse Jr., Daniel Zor and Judson Addy and many grand and great-grand children. Also surviving her are her brothers J. Saba Kla-Williams 11 and Charles H. Scott; her sisters Abbie and Klarie Kla-Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Liberia and the USA. She will be funeralized in Monrovia, Liberia on the January 31st at the Eliza Turner AME Church.

Viewing and Memorial Service
Will take place on January 24th at the Metropolitan AME Church at 1518 M St. NW, Washington, DC 20005 (corners of 16th and M Streets in downtown DC)
Viewing-8:30-9:45am
Memorial Service-at 10:00am ( promptly)

From Maryland via Route 50 or I-295 Bw Parkway
" Follow rte 50 west or 295 south to New York Ave
" Proceed on New York Ave to 7 St NW
" Cross 7 St. and turn right to Massachusetts ave
" Follow Mass Ave to 15th St. NW and turn left onto 15th st.
" Proceed on 15 st for one block to M st and turn right on M st
" Go one half block to church

From Virginia via I-66 or Route 50
" Cross the Roosevelt Bridge into Washington DC via I-66 or Rte 50
" Once in Washington Dc you will be on Constitution Ave NW
" Continue on Constitution Ave and make left on 15 St
" Continue north on 15 St and make left onto the K St. service lane( furthest right lane) make the first right turn back onto 15th St.
" Proceed on 15th St. and make a left onto M St.
" Go one half block to Church

From Virginia via I-395
" Take 395 to the 14th St Bridge to Washington Dc
" Continue north on 14th St. to M St.- you must go around Thomas Circle and pass the 14th St turn to get to M St. Look for the Wynham Washington Hotel (it will be on your left as you get onto M St.)
" Proceed one and a half blocks on M St. Metropolitan AME is on the left

Parking
Parking has been arranged for you at the PMI Garage located in 1600 of M Street NW on the right hand side of the one -way street going west. However, you must bring the machine generated ticket into the church for validation. Please avoid getting a hefty parking ticket or risk towing by parking elsewhere.
