Mr.
Adib Nayef Abi-Rached, Sr.,
The
Abi-Rached, Johnson, Hines and Bracewell families announce
with profound regrets the death of Mr. Adib Nayef Abi-Rached,
Sr., son of Mr. Nayef Abi-Rached and Ms. Bindu Johnson (deceased).
This sad event occurred on Sunday, January 18, 2009 at the
Cooper's Clinic, Monrovia, Liberia.
Adib was a graduate of Konola Academy High School; he attended
the Booker Washington Institute (B.W.I) and the University
of Liberia. He was the founder and owner of the Abi-Rached
Business in Totota, Liberia. He was a former employee of the
National Police Force, the Bureau of General Auditing and
the Bong Mining Company (Bong Mines). In 2005, Adib was one
of the candidates that ran for the House of Representatives
for Lower Bong County.
He
leaves to mourn: Ms. Bewu T. Gibson, Ms. Betty Wokpek, six
children: Cerue Abi-Rached Bia (Lorenzo), Rodney Abi-Rached,
Antoine Abi-Rached, Adib Abi-Rached, Jr., William Siafa Gibson
and Idella Abi-Rached. His siblings: Idella Musu Abi-Rached
Gbayee (Hon Alexander P. Gbayee-Liberian Counsel General,
Chicago), William G. Abi-Rached, Sr., (Josephine), Eric Devide
Davis (deceased), Rebecca Morris Fredericks (Mickey), Manula
Wilson, Florrie Wilson Gittens (Chris), Ophelia Chippay, Major
Reeves, Zoe Massaquoi, Musu Eva Johnson and Esther Doe Massey.
Two uncles: Abraham and Emmanuel Johnson, two grand children,
nieces, nephews, several foster children: Horray Gibson, Wilbert
Gibson and Samelia McFall and a host of other relatives and
friends in Liberia, Ghana and the United States of America
(U.S.A.).
Wake:
Friday, February 20, 2009: the remains of the late Adib Nayef
Abi-Rached, Sr. will be removed from the Samuel A. Stryker
Funeral Service at 4:00 p.m. and taken to the Bethel Outreach
Ministry Church for wake keeping from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Funeral
arrangement as follows: Saturday, February 21, 2009: At
9:00 a.m., the funeral services will be held at the Bethel
Outreach Ministry. Interment and repast will be held at the
Abi-Rached Family Farm in Totota, Lower Bong County. All tributes
and statements should be done at the wake. On the day of the
funeral, tributes will be paid by his immediate family and
the Army of the Living God Ministry Church.
