Nsikelelo Ncube

"We remember in love, the babies unborn who right to life was cruelly denied then; the children; not given the chance to live their own lives to the fullest. The thousand of youths, who looked to a future but had to bow out in the present and the hundreds of men and women whose blood seep through the earth of this nation. To those of us who have survive this nightmare; whatever our origin, creed, or tribe, in our hands lie the healing of hearts, reunification of people, and the rebuilding of a nation."

With profound regrets, we announce the untimely death of our dear husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend Nsikelelo Ncube. This sad event occurred at the Firestone Medical Center on Monday 29 September 2008 at 2:13 A. M. following a very brief illness. He was born on February 14, 1968 at the Phebe Hospital in Suacoco, Bong County unto the union of Mr. Stephen Ncube and Ms. Elder Moyo Ncube.

His short and eventful life had many remarkable achievements. Education wise, he attended the W. V. S. Tubman Methodist School and the St. Martin's Catholic Schools in Gbarnga, Bong County from 1974-1979. In 1980, he enrolled at the Konola Academy SDA Mission. In 1981, he left Liberia for Zimbabwe during which time he entered the Hamilton high School in Morningside Bulawalyo, Zimbabwe where he completed Form 1-5. Upon completion of high school, he returned to Liberia and enrolled at the Cuttington University College now Cuttington University where he graduated on 22 February 2000 with honors (Cum Laude) in Accounting with a GPA of 3.31. Still hungry for education, he entered the Cuttington University Graduate School where he obtained a Masters of Business Administration in Finance on 9 July 2006. He also studied computer science at the Computer Mart International and the West African Computer Science Institute.

Professionally, he had a wealth of experience. He served as an Instructor of Accounting and Economics at the St. Martin's College of Career Development where he later became Head of the Accountant Department. He later served as Accountant for the News Newspaper. He served as Audit Assistant; Panel Kerr Foster-Worldwide (PKF), Accountant; Mobil Oil Liberia Inc., Chief Accountant; Lutheran World Federation/World Service (LWF/WS), National Finance Officer; World Food Program (WFP), Finance and Administration Officer; BASICS Liberia, Accounting Instructor; Stella Maris Polytechnic.

He leaves to mourn his lost, his darling wife, Vida Porte Ncube, his son Nicholas Ncube, his father Mr. Steven Ncube, his mother Jestina Ncube four brothers nines sisters; one of whom (Nozizwe Ncube) predeceased him). His mother; Elder Moyo Ncube also predeceased him.

Meanwhile, the second family meeting will be held at the home of the deceased on Duport Road, Flower Pot Community behind Mr. Philip Kamah's residence on Sunday 05 October 2008 at 3:00 P. M.

Removal of the Body from the Samuel Stryker Funeral Home---Friday 10 October 2008 at 5:00 P. M. and taken to the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Paynesville, Monrovia, Liberia

Wake keeping over the remains of the Late Nsikelelo Ncube---- Friday 10 October 2008 from 6:00 P. M.-10:00 P. M. at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Paynesville, Monrovia, Liberia

Funeral Service over the remains of the Late Nsikelelo Ncube will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Paynesville, Monrovia, Liberia on Saturday 11 October 2008 at 10:00 A. M.

Interment follows immediately at Porte Hill, Crozierville, Montserrado County, Liberia.
