Louis Edwin Randall

The Randall and Nah families announce the passing of our beloved Louis Edwin Randall at age 87. At the time of his passing on Tuesday July 27, 2021, he was surrounded by loved ones at home in Northeast Philadelphia.

Louis Edwin Randall was born in Rivercess Territory Liberia on June 10, 1934, to Mr. John Randall and Madame Yarvoe Randall. Louis moved from Rivercess Territory to Sinoe County for school and stayed with his relatives, the family of Former Senator Lemuel Gibson. Louis relocated with the Gibson family to Monrovia and graduated from Laboratory High School. He then attended University of Liberia for a year. Louis was awarded a scholarship as a student pilot by the Government of Liberia to study Aviation in the United States of America. After some time in the USA, Louis returned to Liberia and later transferred his scholarship to the United Kingdom. While in the United Kingdom, Louis completed his Aviation studies. He worked as a pilot for Morgan Air Service, Wessuah Airlines and Air Liberia. Louis retired from piloting and worked at Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation as an Out Station Managing Director for many years.

Louis was a man of faith, a baptized Methodist that later became a devoted Baptist, a loving husband, father, a great family man and friend. He is survived by his wife Elpha Nah Randall and his children: Samuella, Louis Jr,  Orpheus', Sabartina, Ophelia P, Tennessee Obed, Amelia, Jawele (DJ Versatile), Louise D, daughter-in-law, Panella and several foster children. He is survived by his brothers, Gabriel Randall and Hilary Randall, several nieces and nephews, several grandchildren to include: Ann, Faith, Yasmine, Obed, Jr; many families and friends in Liberia, the United States of America, United Kingdom and around the world. Louis is predeceased by his parents and many siblings.
