The Deshield, Kennedy, Cooper, Brooks, Gibson, Scott, Savice, Hubbard, Basir, Wells and Stewart families announce with deep regrets the home-going of our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend Roland Sean Deshield. This sad event occurred on Tuesday, June 15th, 2021 in Jersey City, New Jersey. 
 
He is survived by his Wife, Jenny Kennedy, Children, Susan Deshield, Roland Deshield, Sandra Deshield-Seley, and Othello Deshield, foster children, Josephine Barclay, Ona Dunbar-Stewart and partee Zakama,
Grandchildren, Alida Wilson, Michael Roland Deshield, Chauncy Gibson, Destiny Gibson, Joseph Gibson, Princess Seley, Dorcey Grliklay, and Joshua Deshield, one Great-grand, Cooper Deshield, siblings, Othello Deshield, Victor Brooks, Pauline Gibson, Elaine Brooks, Comfort Copper, Manunu Kallon, and Blama Kallon.
