It is with great sadness that the Cheeks, Anderson, Yancy, Shasha, Whitfield and Diawon Families announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend Mr. Peter Andrew Cheeks, Sr., affectionately called Yaku, Uncle Peter. With his Lovely wife, Julia Whitfield-Cheeks by his side at home, Peter transitioned to glory on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at 2.10 AM in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
Mr. Peter Andrew Cheeks, sr., leaves to mourn his loving and devoted wife Mrs. Julia Whitfield-Cheeks, his son Mr. Peter Cheeks, Jr.(Monique), Sisters: Mrs. Adeline Cheeks-Anderson, Ms. Histy Cheeks, Mrs. Esther Cheeks-Gabriel Ms. Nancy Cheeks, and Mrs. Lucy Diawon. Brothers: Mr. Jacob Cheeks (Victoria) Mr. Luke Cheeks and Mr. Samuel Cheeks. Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
He was predeceased by his Parents, Mr. Foday Cheeks and Mrs. Martha Gio-Cheeks, Sisters: Ms. Anna Moore Cheeks, and Roseline Cheeks Massaquoi, Brothers: Isaac M. Cheeks, Sr., Mr. Oliver D. Cheeks, Sr., Joseph K. Cheeks, Herbert Cheeks, Wilmot Cheeks and Eugene Cheeks.
