Life in Monrovia. This is what Liberians refer to as "Born to suffer" ~ This is one of the many options available for delivering water. These boys deliver water to homes and businesses across the bridge and in-town that are not connected to water and sewer pipes. Each of these containers can carry 6 gallons of water, there are 30 containers on this push cart, (30 * 6 = 180 gallons of water). These guys push these carts fill with water in the hot sun, up hill, down hill, between cars, and in the traffic. They buy the water at the pumps for 5 LD a container and sell it for 10 LD a container. Hey at least they are earning a living. Like they say in Liberia "no food for lazy man".
