Welcome to Kpatawee, a Liberian Attraction

The waterfall at Kpatawee is located in Kpatawee, Bong County, behind Cuttington University, Liberia

March 2010

Kpatawee Rice Fields. These canals provide water to the rice fields. They are growing to bush. The Chinese who have the project to manage the rice fields have not started work.

There are 32 plots that make up the rice fields at Kpatawee. In 2007 when last I visited Kpatawee, the fields were filled with harvest-ready rice. The area was rich, green and beautiful, not dried and unkept as it is now

The water that is used to water the rice fields comes from Kpatawee Waterfall. There is a pipe that brings water to the canals and fields from the fall
