Madame
Esther Paiyah Zelee
The
death is announced of Madame Esther Paiyah
Zelee in her 94th year. She died on May 14,
2010 at the residence of her niece, Mrs. Anna
Kaydea. She leaves to mourn her loss, one daughter,
Mrs. Elizabeth Duncan Johnson of Minnesota,
three grand Children, Mrs. Satta Johnson Coleman
of Iowa, Michael Davies of Minnesota and Joseph
F. Johnson of Monrovia, eight great grand children,
several nieces including Mrs. Frances Zelee
Zulu, Rebecca Zelee Garley, Zoe Zelee, Mrs.
Anna Zelee Kaydea, Mrs. Margaret Zelee Taye,
several nephews including Mr. Lewis Zelee, George
Zelee, Richard Zelee, Victor Zelee, Edwin B.
Zelee and a host of other relatives in the United
States and United Kingdom.
The
body will be removed from the Abraham-Roberts
Funeral on Tuesday June 1, 2010 at 2 PM and
taken to the home of her niece, Mrs. Anna Zelee
Kaydea, where a night of wake keeping
will be held on Wednesday June 2, 2010, the
body will be removed from her niece’s home
and taken to Sayuwoh, Konobo District, Grand
Gedeh County, where internment will follow.
