Robert Benedict Yabeh Wright, Sr.

It is with great sorrow and profound sadness that the Wright, Elliott, Collins, Clarke, Urey and the Killen families announce the death of their son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, nephew and cousin, Robert Benedict Yabeh Wright, Sr. This unfortunate event occurred on October 21, 2020, in Golden Valley, Minnesota, USA.

Mr. Wright was born on December 15, 1930, into the union of Samuel Tumu Wright and Nyenne Gyude Elliott Collins. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, 14 of 15 of his brothers and sisters and two sons.

Mr. Wright was affectionately known as Henry Gant. Mr. Wright love the Lord and was a man of enormous faith. He was loving, caring, smart, witty, passionate, hard working and a very resourceful man with a beautiful and wonderful mind. He was always optimistic about the future.

Mr. Wright leaves his five wonderful, loving and beautiful daughters: Judy Wright, Deborah Wright Dwalu (Amos), Gladys Wright, Hannah Wright Cramer (Anthony), Wade Matu Wright Sorsor (Augustine) and his four handsome sons: James Wright (Albertha), Spencer Wright (), Robert Wright, Jr. (Princess) and Randolph Wright (Benedicta) to mourn and cherish his memory. He is also survived by his brother Dr. James K.B. Collins, 24 grandchildren, aunts, cousins, nephews, and a host of other relatives in Liberia and the United States. He also leaves behind friends, some of whom have become very close friends, and childhood brothers.

VISITATION, SERVICE AND INTERNMENT WILL BE AT ROSELAWN CEMETERY AND CHAPEL.
Due to the current pandemic (COVID-19 virus) the funeral will be restricted to the family and close friends. The wearing of proper masks and social distancing will be enforced.
