The Redd, Krangar, (Wright), Hansford, Carter family announces with great sadness the home going of our beloved matriarch, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and relative Jannie Bayo Zam Redd Wright affectionately called “Aunt Jannie”.

This peaceful transition occurred on May 28, 2017 at 06:45am at her home in Ft. Mitchell, Alabama.

 She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters Darthula Hansford Smith (Jimmy), Yvonne Hansford , three sons Benjamin Carter(Victoria), Gabriel Carter  and Nathaniel Carter, one sister Victoria Redd, fourteen grand children, nineteen great grand children, nieces, nephews, cousins  relatives, friends and other (daughters and sons) in the United States and Liberia.

She was predeceased by her husband Melton Wright, her parents Kemah Krangar Redd and Ambrose Redd, two sons Ambrose Tubman and James Burgess Carter.  May her soul rest in perpetual peace. 

Our mother requested that festive African Attire be worn for her home going celebration.
