Mr. David Konoe Wright

Sunrise: October 17th, 1940 – Sunset: July, 6th, 2020.

On behalf of the Wright and Konoe family, it is with heartbreaking sorrow to announce the death of our beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin friend, and community leader, Former Ambassador, Mr. David Konoe Wright.

Mr. Konoe Wright was the former Liberian Ambassador to Guinea and former Lieutenant Colonel of the Liberian Armed Forces of Liberia. Mr. David Konoe wright passed away peacefully at his residence in Gardnesville, in Monrovia, Liberia on July 6th, 2020, from prolonged illness.
   
  Mr. Wright began his early education at the Monrovia Demonstration Elementary School and later at the Booker Washington Institute, where he graduated.

He leaves behind to mourn his loss, three children and nine grandchildren, Albert G Wright. (Tiffanee Wright, Kiara Wright, Kaiya Wright); Vida M Wright (Gwendolyn Z. Wright, Divonte Wright, David Wright, Albert Wright) and Eva N Wright (Samuel Livingstone, Amos Prince Jegboh, and Lois Jegboh.), and David Varney whom he reared. One Great granddaughter Ava V.M. Wright, brothers, Johnny Wright, David R. Taylor, and nephew, Bishop Anthony Wennie. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
  He was predeceased by his mother, Hon. Davidetta Taylor Wright, sister, Nellie Konoe, his brother DK Konoe, 

Funeral arrangements will be as follow:

A silent wake keeping will be held at his home in Gardnerville, Monrovia on July 24th, 2020.
Funeral service will be held at the Upper Room Church in Totota, Liberia on July 25th, 2020 at 1:00 pm.
Interment to follow at his resting place on his farm in Totota, Monrovia, Liberia.
