The Clarke, Marshall, Nurse & Wooding families sadly announce the passing of their daughter, mother, niece and aunt Sarah Wooding. Mammie, as she was affectionately called, transitioned to glory occurred on May 24, 2020 in New Jersey. 

Mammie was born unto the union of Edward and Rachel Nurse Clarke on February 2, 1968. A lively and funny spirit who worked tirelessly for her family, she had a laugh that could light up any room. She will be missed by her many friends and family all around the world. 

Mammie was predeceased by her father, Edward Clarke Sr., and three siblings: Johnetta Minor, Edward Clarke Jr, and Alphonso (Baby Brother) Clarke. 

She is survived by her mother: Rachel Nurse Clarke, her children: Clarence (Siaffa) Lasana, Edwin (Pookie) Wooding Garmie, Calvin Wooding Garmie, her siblings: Christine Lloyd, Mary Jensen, Rose Clarke, Ethel Clarke, William Clarke, Johnny Clarke, Aileen Clarke, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives. 

Due to Covid-19, we are forced to have a service that is limited to the state requirements. A public memorial service will be arranged in the future to celebrate her life once it is safe to do so.
