Mr. Francis Boiboi Woniewala

The Woniewala, Freeman, Cooper, Sumo and Washington families announce with profound sorrow the passing of their beloved son, husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend, Mr. Francis Boiboi Woniewala.
This sad event occurred on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at his home in Monrovia, Liberia. Mr. Francis Boiboi Woniewala leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Mrs. Gloria Freeman Woniewala, his children Francine, Vanessa, and Francis Woniewala, Jr., his brothers, Mr. David Woniewala, Mr. Samuel B. Woniewala, Mr. Flomo B. Washington, Sr., Mr. George B. Cooper, Mr. James Sumo, his sister, Ms. Darwu Woniewala and many love-ones including nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
He was predeceased in death by his parents Mr. Moses and Mrs. Lombeth Woniewala, and two of his brothers, Mr. Joseph M. Woniewala and Mr. James Z. Woniewala.
Mr. Francis Boiboi Woniewala was born unto the union of Mr. Moses and Mrs. Lombeth Woniewala of Division #43, Firestone, Liberia. He started his early education in DIVISION #43, and later transferred to Kolahun to finish the eighth grade. Upon completion, he attended Booker T. Washington Institute for four years of High School.
In 1979, he travelled to the United States, where he attended the University of Tennessee and obtained a BSC degree in Agriculture. He also obtained a master’s degree from Texas University. He married Ms. Gloria Freeman; their union was blessed with a girl, Ms. Francine Woniewala.
Prior to relocating to Liberia where he started his own business, he worked at Circuit City for many years where he quickly accelerated to managerial level in the company with emphasis in sales training and building capacity nationwide. He later worked at Tate Dodge Auto Dealership as a top salesman winning many awards. He later retired from the company to start his own business in Monrovia, Liberia
Francis (as he was passionately called), was well admired by friends, school mates, and ordinary people he came across. He had a special way of smiling and connecting that attracted so many people to him.
May his soul rest in perfect peace and light perpetual shine upon him!
The funeral services over the remains of the late Mr. Francis Boiboi Woniewala will be held in Monrovia, Liberia on Saturday, March 14, 2020.
