Mr.
Francis B. Wolo Sr.
This
is to announce with profound regret the home
going of our beloved husbands, father, Grandfather,
great grandfather, brother, uncle and cousin
Mr. Francis B. Wolo Sr.
This
sad event occurred on Sunday, September 18,
2009 at the John F. Kennedy memorial hospital
after a brief illness.
God-pa,
as he was affectionately called was born on
March 14, 1927. He was a former employee of
the National Port Authority, as a Labor Relations
Officer. God-pa also worked with the CIO Congress
Industrial organization.
He
leaves to mourn his loss, Mrs. Theresa Weah
Wolo, his faithful and loving wife for 48 years.
Also his children; Emmanuel Pepple, Andy Forh,
Gloria Abasi-Williams, Esther Dortu-Payne, Marie
Wolo Tetteh, Francis B. Wolo Jr. Alice Peah,
Mai Wolo Daou, Linda Tete Wolo and Patrica Droh
Wolo.
Thirty
one (31) grand children, Seven (7) great grand
children, 2 sisters, Mary Wolo and Kukoh Wolo,
and a host of other relatives.
Wake
keeping will be held at the Georgia Pattern
Memorial UMC, United Nations Drive, Monrovia,
on Thursday, October 8, 2009, and funeral will
be on Friday, October 9, 2009.
A
Memorial service will be held at the
Good Shepherd UMC in New Jersey at 110
Buckingham Dr., Willingboro, N.J. 08046. On
October 31, at 10am to 3pm.
