JOHN B. WILSON

The family, relatives and friends announce with profound grief, the untimely demise of our dear husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and trusted friend, John Benedict Wilson, which sad event occurred on Sunday July 19th, 2020 at 11:33 A.M. (Ante Meridian) in Minneapolis, Minnesota USA following a medical surgery at the Mayo Hospital.

Mr. John B. Wilson was born in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County, Republic of Liberia (West Africa) unto the union of Mr. Gueh Wilson and Mrs. Yenseawon Wilson of Grand Bassa County, all of whom predeceased him.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his life time partner and beloved wife of 24 years, Serveh Morris Wilson, four children, Elve, Emmanuel, and Behtee Wilson, all of the USA and Monconjay Wilson (of Monrovia, Liberia), several brothers, stepbrothers, stepsisters, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends both in the United States of America and Liberia.

Mr. Wilson came to the United States in 1994 and had lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he maintained a home until his untimely passing.

In his home-going, we have lost a diligent and irreplaceable family man, humanitarian, and a dependable friend.

There will be NO wake keeping for John Wilson.

Funeral services will be held at the Emmanuel Christian Center, 14320 93rd Ave. N. Maple Grove, Minnesota 55369 on August 8th, 2020 at 9:00 AM to 12: noon.

Burial will follow immediately at the Gethsemane Cemetery – 815142nd Ave. North, New Hope, MN 55427 at 1:00 PM.
