The Williams, Burphy and George families regret to announce the sudden death of Joseph D. Williams, affectionately called “JD” and “GPG.” This very sad and mournful event occurred on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the home of his aunt on AB Tolbert road, Paynesville, Liberia.

He leaves to mourn and cherish his memories, his loving mother Amy Musu Burphy-Williams of Lake Worth, FL, his son Eugene Kiazolu-Williams, siblings; Thomas Williams Jr, Sidney L Williams, Nicky Williams, Stephan Williams, Peter Williams, John Williams and Tonia Williams, uncles, aunts, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends in Liberia, the United States and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

 He was predeceased by his father Thomas B.A. Williams, his brother Percy Williams, and his grandparents Thomas and Caroline Burphy of Robertsport, Grand Cape Mount County.

Funeral Arrangements
Removal and Wake-Keeping
The body will be removed from the Abraham Roberts Funeral Home in Gardnersville, Somalia Drive on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 5:00pm and taken to the Williams’ residence, in Jacob’s Town, for a night of wake-keeping.
