September 29th, 1919 – December 25th, 2019
Psalms 90:10,12 “We can expect seventy years, or maybe eighty, if we are healthy, but even our best years bring trouble and sorrow. Suddenly our time is up, and we disappear.
Teach us to use wisely all the time we have.”
Isaiah 46:4 I am your God and will take care of you until you are old and your hair is gray.
I made you and will care for you; I will give you help and rescue you.
It is with sadness, that we the Williams, Brown, Grigsby, Sirleaf, Flowers, Taylor, Phillips, and Russ families announce the home going of our dearly beloved Mr. Henry Byrd Williams on December 25th 2019 at the North Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center in New Hope, Minnesota.
He was predeceased by his parents Henry Byrd and Sarah Frances Williams, his wife Maggie Williams, and his siblings Diana S. Grigsby (Harrison), his identical twin brother Samuel F. Williams (Elsie), Sarah A. Sirleaf (Ahamadu), Caroline Flowers (James), Beatrice Russ (James) and Christine Williams.
He leaves to mourn his loss his son William Henry Byrd [Jr.] (Bonnae), Aunty Estelle Brown Hammond, Harrison Williams (Alaere), Dalphine Willis (Jacob), Augusta Horton (Francis), Kedrick Taylor (Ada), Richmond Flowers (Blessed), Astra Whitterspoon, Fitzgerald Flowers (Aletha), Henry Byrd Phillips, Meatta Koenig, Annie Sirleaf and a host of relatives in the United States and Liberia.

Date: Friday, January 17th 2020 at Lakewood Cemetery Chapel,
3600 Hennepin Ave. South, Minneapolis, Mn 55408
Visitation: 8:45 AM – 9:30 AM
Funeral Service 9:30 AM – 10:45 AM
Interment follows after the service at the same Lakewood Cemetery.
