 Mr. George Alieu Spilsbury-Williams
The death is announced of Mr. George Alieu Spilsbury-Williams, former Assistant Comptroller, Liberia Bank for Development and Investment (LBDI), Bank of Monrovia, and Teacher at Bishop Ferguson High school in Cape Palmas. Paps, Dada, Daddy George, G-Spils, Georgie as he was most affectionately called by his family and many friends, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018, at the John F Kennedy Hospital in Monrovia, after a protracted ailment.
Georgie leaves to mourn, his wife Dorothy (Atlanta), children, George Modupe (Eileen), George Wah, Georgetta (Frederick) Mildred (Tamba) and Fabunde Fergusson (Jelena), daughter, Tenneh Kamara Williams, in addition to a host of grandchildren. He is also survived by elder brother Mr. Alfred Williams of Kenema, Sierra Leone, several nephews and nieces including Michael and Ramatu Massaquoi of Bo, Sierra Leone, and Janet Williams in the United Kingdom. Funeral will take place on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at the Burn’s Phelps United Methodist Church in Brewerville, Monrovia Liberia.
