Gertrude Gibson-Weeks
The
Gibson family regrets to announce the passing
of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother,
and aunt, the late Mrs. Gertrude Gibson-Weeks.
This sad event occurred at the home of her daughter
Joyce Coleman/Sawyer-Caston on April 8, 2010
at 6:30 a.m. She leaves to mourn her lost her
daughter Joyce (Matthew Sr.), her ex son-in
law Dr. Amos Sawyer, 5 grandchildren Reza Sawyer
(Maria), Frantz Sawyer (Monica), Monique Nicole
Caston, Matthew N. Caston Jr., and Urias Gibson
(Annie); 6 great grandchildren Emmanuel (who
preceded her in death), Charelle, Jasmine, Alexis,
Ian and Evan; and 1 great great grandson, Dorian
Eugene Michael Quiett, who also preceded her
in death. Gertrude also leaves behind her nieces,
nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives
including her 3 foster daughters: Rachel, Frances,
and Mary. May her soul rest in perfect peace.
