Phillip
J Watson (Knuckles)
"The
righteous perish, and no one ponders it in his
heart; devout men are taken away, and no one
understands that the righteous are taken away
to be spared from evil. Those who walk uprightly
enter into peace; they find rest as they lie
in death." Isaiah 57: 1-2
Sunrise
August 5, 1980 to Sunset March 4, 2011.
The
Watson, Hammonds and Knuckles families announce
with profound regrets the sudden and untimely
death of our ever so loving "love child"
and precious son, Phillip J Watson, commonly
called by relatives and friends "PJ".
PJ was called home to glory on Friday, March
4, 2011.
PJ,
Phillip to all who came to know him, was easily
recognized in the crowd by his smiles and reassuring
sense of calmness that drew people toward him
instantly. Everyone who came to know him took
notice of how well behaved he was. Philip was
very humorous in nature and would share or make
you laugh at the drop of the hat at your worst
moment or trying times in one's life. He was
known to share his last, even if it was to a
stranger. Surely, we who loved him dearly will
ponder in our hearts and search our minds for
answers for such unexplainable departure while
we yet take comfort in knowing and believing
in the promise of Jesus Christ, the Son of God
of our Heavenly Father, that PJ, Phillip has
entered into the peaceful rest as he lay in
death of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
He
leaves to cherish his impressionable memory,
his ever so loving mother and best friend, Alice
Miatta Watson, Lady Marie Hammonds (second mother
and aunt), maternal grandmother Eunice Davis
(Teta), maternal grandfather Professor Emmett
Watson (deceased), aunt Jeanette Hood (Stormy),
aunt Louise Watkins (Mommy), three siblings
Dominique Watson, Umbori Watson, and Joceline
(Penny) Deho; niece Ciatta Naiomi Deho, cousins
but known as his siblings, Karl, Jr., Tyrone,
Karla, Muriel, Racquel, Emmett, Eunice, other
maternal relatives and well wishers.
Also
his loss is shared by his father Rev. Robert
E. Knuckles, II (Thelma), paternal grandmother
Annie B. Knuckles of Careysburg, Liberia, his
siblings, Valerie, DanClev and DeOntaie Knuckles,
Shenecka Lowery and Sade Dotson along with his
paternal aunts and uncles and a host of other
relatives and sympathizers residing in the USA,
Liberia and the world at large.
