Florence A. Watson

Job 1: 21 "Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I shall return there. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord".

The Watson, Ledlum, and Bates families announce with deep regrets the home-going of Florence A. Watson of Upper Caldwell, Liberia. She peacefully went to be with the Lord on February 15, 2016 after a brief illness. We thank the Lord for giving her to us for 81 years and 7 months. The family will forever cherish the love, compassion, and devotion she exemplified throughout her life. She leaves to mourn her loss: 8 children (Amos Walker, Jr. (Sylvia), Nora Walker,Isaac Watson, Jr. (Jamantha), Momo Madiah, II ( Sharon), Massa Watson, Elizabeth Watson, Patricia Watson-Wilson (George), and Grace Minor (Winston); 24 grand-children and 12 great-grand-children; one brother (Uncle John); several cousins, nieces and nephews, and a host of friends and acquaintances. May her soul rest in perpetual peace.

Funeral services will take place on March 5, 2016 at 11:00a. m. at the Saint Matthew United Methodist Church, Upper Caldwell; interment follows at the Powell Cemetery in Upper Caldwell.
