GAYDOU FARNEH BESTMAN-WASHINGTON
With
deep pain and heavy hearts, the Washington,
Bestman, Appleton and Hill families announces
the home going of their sweet and beloved mother,
sister, grandmother, great-grand-mother, great
-great-grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend
Mrs. Gaydou Farneh Washington, known as Ayai.
This sad event occurred at the St Joseph Hospital,
in Syracuse, New York, on Sunday May 23, 2010
at 1:21am. She was in her 79th year.
Mrs. Washington is survived by her children:
Lottie W. Appleton, of Syracuse New York, (Dr.
Nathaniel S. Appleton), Aaron L. Gbadiwu, Monrovia,
Liberia, (Mamei), Henry G. Washington, Monrovia,
Liberia including Gaydou, Matthew, Alice, Zaza
,Yamma, Youngor, Moses, Joseph, Garmai, Kabbeh,
Doris, Fredrick, Deddeh, and James Gbadiwu Beyan,
of Ohio (Gladys Beyan)
She's
also survived by more than 16 grandchildren
including: Portia, Ruan, Dolly, Roosevelt, Farneh,
Gbargama, Sabeh, Kokulo, Garmai, Kollie, Aaron
Jr., Henry Jr. Clarence, Albert, Mercy, James,
more than 43 great-grandchildren, three great-great
grandchildren, several nephews, nieces, including
Victor Betman and a host of relatives and friends
in Liberia Ghana, Guinea, and the United States.
Mrs.
Gaydou F. Washington was predeceased by her
husband, Moses K Washington, son, Mulbah Y.
Kokulo (George Washington), daughters, Kabbeh,
Edith, Annie, and Deddeh Washington.
