 Edith Nimley Wallace
It is with great sadness but profound gratitude for a life well lived that the Wallace, Nimley, and Wolo families announce the peaceful transition of the beloved Edith Nimley Wallace (affectionately called Sister Edith). Colonel Wallace was a former chief of Records, Liberian National Police. This sad event occurred on Monday, March 9, 2020 in Marietta Georgia in her 86th year.
She is survived by her children: Ernest Wallace, Martha Wallace, John Wallace, Barbara Wallace and Jessina Brisbane-Wallace (daughter-in-law), her brother Alexander Mombo, 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grand children and a host of other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lt. Col.John M. Wallace ,Former Chief of Traffic Liberia National Police, children: Theodore Wallace, Himmie Wallace and Edith Wallace.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2020 @ 10am at Hanley-Shelton Funeral Home 473 Lawrence St NE Marietta, GA 30060
