Cecelia Kpelleh Vah

The Vah and Kpelleh families announce the home going of their beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grand mother CeCelia K. Vah, affectionately known as “Mayah”. This sad event occurred on Wednesday, September 14 ,2016 at the John F. Kennedy Medical Center after a period of protracted illness.  Her remains have been deposited at the Samuel A. Stryker Funeral Home.

She served as a missionary at the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith (PCAF) International and was assigned at Christ Temple.

Maya is survived by her loving husband, Deacon Emmanuel G. Vah Sr. Seven (7) children: Abraham, Oretha, Emmanuel, Richard, Victor, Tetee and Dorcus. Six (6) Foster Children, Twenty-eight (28) Grandchildren, Eleven (11) Great-grandchildren, several brothers, sisters, sons and daughters’ in-laws and a host of other relatives and friends.

May her Soul rest in prefect peace!!

Wake keeping and funeral services:  Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Christ Temple, Wroto Town Airfield, Sinkor-Monrovia beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Interment: Congo Town cemetery, Monrovia
