The Uso, Outland and Washington family announces with deep sadness, but with gratitude to Almighty God, the home-going of our mother, grand-mother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and the Matriarch of our family, Mrs. Phebe Famata Uso. The Lord called Phebe home from labor to rest quietly at her home in Stockton California on October 11, 2018, after a period of illness.
The Late Phebe Famata Uso was predeceased by her parents, George Outland and Phebe Washington, her sons, Theophilus, Jr. and Adolphus, Randall Outland, her sisters and brothers, Julia, Catherine, Bea, Sarah, Wilmot and Zachariah. She leaves to mourn her loss, her children, Joseph Graham, Florence, Jeanette Uso-Obetsebi Lamptey, Shirley, Godwin Alvin (Shanna), Precious and Rhodel; her nieces, Casselia Liles Stewart, Annie Liles and Ellen Weizel, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives.
