Hon. Matthew Wolo Tweh, Sr.
March 23, 1922 – November 13, 2015

The Tweh family of  Grand Cess, Monrovia, Liberia and Germantown, Maryland sadly announce the homegoing of our Patriarch, Matthew W. Tweh, Sr in his 92nd year. The peaceful transition occurred on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Collingswood Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Rockville, Maryland surrounded by his close family.

He leaves to cherish his memory, Beatrice, a loving and devoted wife of 61 years; his children: Evangeline Tweh-Johnson, Velma Tweh-Summerville, Tanneh Tweh-Brunson (Henry), Thomas, Matthew Jr and Eric. Fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and close friends.
He was predeceased by his daughter Olivia SewonTweh-Bestman.
