It
is with deep sorrow and regret that the Bryant, Tubman, and
Gbye families announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother,
sister, daughter and friend, Frederica Gbye Tubman. This passing
occurred Sunday, January 29th, 2012 in Durham, NC.
Frederica
Gbye Tubman was born March 20, 1961 to the late Reverend Frederick
Flomo Gbye and Ida Karpehdi Gbye. She was predeceased by her
father Reverend Frederick Flomo Gbye and her sister Beatrice
Lamadine. She is survived by her husband, Alexander Bryant,
her children, Lemac Fiske Tubman and Idamae Fiske Tubman,
her mother, Ida Karpehdi Gbye, her siblings, Anna Coudreau,
Mae Mae Diggs, Florence Odushola, Frederick Gbye, Diogba Gbye,
and her only grand baby, Leanne Tubman. She's also survived
by her nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family
and friends in the U.S., Liberia and other parts of the world.
Frederica
was a beautiful person inside and out. She was a child of
God, a care-giver and a person with great pride and love for
others. She loved life and dealt with all of its struggles
with God in her heart and on her side. Please keep her family
in your prayers.
