The Toomey, Greaves, Fung, Barchue, Morgan, Bryant and Brownell families regret to announce the home-going of their mother, sister, grandmother, aunty and cousin, Mrs. Ella W. Toomey.
Ella was a Registered Nurse for over forty years, serving as Nurse Supervisor at Firestone Health Center, Nurse Supervisor at the Old Maternity Center, Head Nurse at the Liberia Mining Company, School Nurse at Cuttington College (10+ years), Nurse Supervisor at the LAMCO Hospital Out Patient Clinic (10+ years), and Nurse Supervisor at the JFK Medical Center East II Wing (10+ years).
"Ma" as she was affectionately called, passed away quietly in the comfort of her daughter's home in Weymouth, MA in the early hours of Sunday, July 17, 2016 surrounded by her family. She leaves to mourn her loss her siblings; Mrs. Annie Toomey, Mr. Joseph Toomey (Betty) and Mr. Thomas Toomey (Clarice); her children Mrs. Harriette Greaves-Jarba, Mrs. Jackie Fung and Mr. Von Barchue (Augusta); grandchildren- Nina, Vella, Elvira, Edward, Cyrus, Victor, Maxwell, Fostenal, Lucretia, Greselda, Chloe-Mai, Dino, Patience-Jane, Mawine, Jermaine, Sabeta, LaShanna, Jeremy, Brianna, Hennetta, Vonai and Avonda; several great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
