It is with deep regret that the Tolbert and Smith Families announce the passing of their mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and cousin, Lducia Beatrice Tolbert, affectionately called Aunt Lducia and Teacher Nevins. This sad event occurred on Saturday, June 20, 2009 in Fredericksburg, Virginia. As we mourn her passing, we give thanks for her life and celebrate her homegoing.
She leaves to mourn her loss her children: Evangeline (Bill) Smith, Adelaide (Berry) Ware, Maria (Julius Jones) Roberta Tolbert, and Kerkula (Nikki) Tolbert; thirteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two sisters, Edna Tolbert Bailey and Kula Tolbert; two brothers, Levi Tolbert and Daniel (Myrna) Tolbert; sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
