Deacon Tolbert reached out and touched many lives with his humility and generous spirit. He was an example to hold up to his family and community at large. He made each and every day a momentous day in our lives.

It is with profound sadness that the Tolbert, Freeman/Fahnbulleh, and Darblo/Gray families announce the passing of our great and gentle giant Deacon Daniel F. Tolbert Sr. This event occurred on Friday, March 28, 2014 at his home in Sinkor.

It is with hope that we celebrate the life of our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather. He leaves to mourn his wife, Myrna R. Tolbert; children: Beatrice Nuarhpa, Konah Tolbert-Karas, Daniel F. Tolbert Jr., Rosemarie Tolbert-Clinton, Fametta Tolbert-McKinney, Wilhelmina Tolbert-Banfield, Luakena Tolbert; grandchildren: Myrna Aful, Zina Karas , Zaiya Karas, Aidan Banfield, Amisa Banfield, Daniel F. Tolbert III, Jayden Rose Clinton , and Zahari Anne Clinton; a sister Kula J. Tolbert, a brother Levi Tolbert, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins whom he loved dearly.

Deacon Tolbert was a respected businessman and dedicated family man. Although we will miss him dearly his footprints leave a legacy to uphold.
