 Beatrice Padmore Butler Tolbert
The Butler, Tolbert and Eastman families announce with profound sadness the homegoing of Mrs. Beatrice Padmore Butler Tolbert in her 84th year. This event occurred at the Presbyterian Homes/Maranatha Care Center in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota on Sunday, September 16, 2018.
“Ma Bea”, as she was affectionately called, is survived by her husband, Christian M. Tolbert; children Thomas G. Butler, Jr. (Olive), Augusta Yarvo Butler, Jerome Butler, and Aurelius Dwoe Butler (Salimatu); siblings Bernice Eastman, Alvin Eastman, Blossom Lloyd, Leona Lloyd Allen and Emily Lloyd; sister-in-law Leona Eastman; daughter-in-law Kotati Butler; several grand-children and great grand-children; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents Nathan Eastman and Frances Padmore Lloyd; siblings Theresa Eastman Mayson, T. Earnest Eastman, Leo Eastman, Moore T. Padmore, Emolyn Eastman, and Esther Yankey and; her children Moore T. Butler and Francis Butler.
