It is with profound sadness and deep regret that the Togba, Davis, Witherspoon, and Simmons families announce the peaceful home going of their mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunty, cousin, Mrs. Anna Kweade Davis Togba. Big Ma, Grandma, Aunty, Aunty Anna quietly and peacefully passed on to be with her Lord and Savior, in whom she has trusted, loved, and believed in throughout her entire life, after a protracted period of illness on the cold winter morning of Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the hour of 9:32 at the Visiting Nurse Association Hospice in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States.
The Late Mrs. Togba is survived by her many children, Kaye Togba Witherspoon, Serkeh Weah Togba, Mark Dargbeh Togba, David Yadeh Chea, Benedictus Woeflo Dalieh, Bartee Chapeh Togba, Gmasonoh Weewee Togba-Aboah, Barnie Kuo Togba; grandchildren, Pastor Dr. James Gbolo, Isaac Witherspoon, Sarah D. Wison Panton, Finda Batama Wohwoh, Alexander Juety Davis, Anna Sweetie Davis, Annette Sajue Witherspoon, Ester Polyonnoh Simmons, Esther Polyyonnoh Love Simmons, Dawn Juwalah Witherspoon, Stanton Albert Witherspoon, Jr., Kaye Peaches Witherspoon; Johnetta Tiah, Mercy Tiah, Kweadeh A. Togba, Dak Sorboh Togba, Wanneh M. Togba, III, D. Mark Togba, Sleh Togba, Princess I. Simmons, Mear Togba, Jima P. Togba, Ellen Zoe Togba, and a host other relatives and friends in Monrovia, Harper, and Sukeh, Liberia, the United States.
She was predeceased by her husband of 30 years, Mr. Dak Sorboh Togba, Sr. of Grandkru County; her parents, James Serkeh and Wanneh Jueh Davis; siblings John, Alexander, Nora, and Etta Davis, and Elizabeth Appleton, all of Maryland County, Liberia.
