 MOTHER SUNDAYWAYE M. GEEDEH TOE
It is with sad hearts that the Toe, Tompoe, and Gildersleve families announce the passing of the late Mary Sundaywaye Geedeh Toe. She was called from labor to rest in her 84th year on Thursday, April 9, 2020, at 3447 Sandy Banks Drive, Auburn, Georgia where she lived with her daughter Beatrice. Sundaywaye was born on April 27, 1936, in Tompoe Town, Rivercess County, Republic of Liberia, West Africa to Tompoe and Nanie Geedeh. Her loving husband Samuel P. Adorkor Toe pre-deceased her in 2013 and was buried in Grand Bassa County, Liberia.
She was a faithful member of Church of Christ Church in Sinkor, Monrovia, Liberia where she served for many years. While in the Atlanta area, she faithfully attended the ICF Ministries of Atlanta, Georgia for many years. She was a person of courage, trust and a very loving and caring person who was also concerned about others.
To cherish her loving memories, she leaves her devoted children: Samuel Toe Jr,* Beatrice Toe Gildersleve (Joseph), Martha Toe, Rebecca Toe, Kwarbo ( Doety), Sampson Yar Toe, Emanuel Toe (Martha), Adorkor Toe (Elizabeth), Ien Yartoe (Vera), Abraham Yar Toe (Korpo), Willemina Toe*, Wesseh Toe and many other children whom she nurtured and took as her own. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; her brothers; her sisters, and many nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives in the United States, Canada, Ghana, and Liberia. May her soul rest in peace as we look forward to seeing her again.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS:
The remains of Mother Mary Sundaywaye Toe is at the Hanley Shelton Funeral Home in Marietta, Georgia. A memorial service was held at the International Christian Fellowship Ministries (461 School Drive SE Atlanta, Georgia 30354) on November 21, 2020 at 10:30 AM (EST) and it was followed by a memorial repast at the church. Due to fights challenges relating to COVID-19, she will now be sent to Liberia by November 30, 2020 to the Samuel A. Stryker Funeral Home in Sinkor, Liberia who will handle the funeral arrangements. On Thursday, December 3, 2020, starting at 6 PM-9 PM; a wake service will be held at the Church of Christ Church on Chessman Ave in Sinkor, Liberia. Also on Friday, December 4, 2020, starting at 10 AM; the funeral services will be held at the same Church of Christ Church. On Saturday December 5, 2020 at 8:00 AM, the family will gather at Stryker Funeral Home to escort her remains to Buchanan, Grand Bassa County for burial.
