The Thornes, Cook and Wiles families with profound sorrow, sadness and heavy hearts announce the home going of our beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunty, niece, cousin and a very good and trusted friend to many, Gmelina Marilyn Thornes. This sudden and sad event took place on the evening of March 17, 2017 at her home in Frederick, Maryland.
Marilyn leaves to mourn her loss, her loving daughter Camille Siede, her step-mother Mamusu Wiles-Thornes; siblings: Dorothy (Wilfred), Jande, James Melvin Jr. (Kwian), Raphael, Joveta, Doris (Jerry), Diana, Frederick and Louise; Uncle Adolph Delaney, Aunty Mary Thornes Smuckers, Cousin Emmett Peabody, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father James Melvin Thornes Sr. and mother Eliza Cook.
