family of Gertrude Florence Dean Thompson regrets
to announce her passing on Sunday, January 24,
2010 in Bel Air, Maryland. Her life is celebrated
by her children Thomas and Arda (daughter) Collins,
Victor and Irene (daughter) Gondor, David G.
Thompson, and Dr. Augustus (son) and Christina
Tah; a sister, Emma Dean Cox; numerous grandchildren,
great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren;
nieces and nephews; and other relatives and
friends.
She
was predeceased by her husband David Y. Thompson,
children Hilary Reed Cooper and Reverend Mother
Cora V. Paris, and several sisters and brothers.
We
give thanks for the peaceful home going of our
beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and
cousin. Your calls and condolences are greatly
appreciated during this time of mourning.
