The Thompson Family announces with profound sadness the home-going of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather Mr. Cyrus Sie Thompson Sr.  Following a protracted period of illness in Liberia, he was invited to the United States to seek medical help by his nephew, Thomas Harris.   Cyrus departed this transitory world on September 21, 2014 in the city of Columbus, OH, USA.

He is survived by his wife, the Rev. Dr. Erlene Perry Thompson, Senior Pastor, First United Methodist Church Monrovia, his children Siepah, Jeremiah, Gloria, Judy, Gerald (Mireille), Mona (Alvin), Ellen (William), and Sie; grand- and great-grand children, sisters, brothers, nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.
