Evangelist Elaine J. Thomas-Moore

Psalm 91: 2a – “I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my strength.”

The Moore, Carter, Thomas and Coleman families are deeply saddened to inform you that Elaine Thomas-Moore, a loving mother, caring grandmother, sister, aunt and cousin went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, July 30, 2018.  She passed away peacefully with her son at her bedside.  May her soul rest in perfect peace.

She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Cahnlay Moore (Josette), grandchildren, Qadira, Samira, Naqiya, Wakil and Nazeem; siblings, Joanna Eva George, Claudia A. Nelson, William Thomas (Edith), Pairlene Padmore (Arthur), Harmon Thomas, Timothy Thomas, McKinley (Mac) Thomas (Hannah), David Thomas (Amanda), Bonita Thomas, Famatta Thomas, several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Also mourning her loss is her ex-husband, James C. Moore, her church family and a host of relatives and friends in the United States, Liberia, Europe and other countries.

She was predeceased by her parents: Mary Deborah Carter-Coleman-Dixon (S.R.E Dixon), H. Carey Thomas and Rebecca Thomas; Siblings: Joseph S. O. Coleman, Ophelia Coleman, Shirley Thomas, Titus Thomas, Magdeline Thomas and Martha Coleman.
