The Tamba Family regrets to announce the home-going of our dearest father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and a friend to many, The Hon. John D. Tamba. This transition occurred suddenly on the morning of October 11, 2014 at the North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale MN. He was also a distinguish patriot who served Liberia with distinction in several governmental capacities.

Celebrating his transition are his (10) ten children. Daughters: Nyanday Tamba (Dr. C. Oti), Kumba Tamba Obey, Finda Tamba (Mr. B. Cooper), Sons: Mr. Bannie Tamba (Linda), Mr. Myfee B. Tamba (Cleo H.) Sarbium O. Tamba (Mariam J.), John D. Tamba Jr., Penky F. Tamba, Baba-Tundi F. Tamba and Mr. Zorpa Tamba (Precious). He also leaves to mourn his passing ex-wife and mother of (7) seven of his children Olive Alma Hill, a niece Sia Tamba of Monrovia, many relatives, some who were more like brothers to him including Mr. George Tamba of Chicago, James Tamba of Atlanta, GA., Fredrick Lincoln of Chicago, Daniel Sennah of Liberia, Ojuku S. Saysay of Liberia, John Fallah of Mpls, MN, a special friend Mama Freeman of Liberia and many foster children.

He is also survived by (27) twenty seven grandchildren and (8) eight great-grand children

He was predeceased by his parents, brother Sar, sister Sia, niece Sobogno, Uncle Sammy Menjor, cousin Gbollie Sennah, grandsons Isiah C. Tamba and Bernard Cooper, other relatives and friends.
