With saddened hearts, the Benjamin, McClain, Poindexter and Stewart families announce the home-going of our beloved wife, daughter, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Rosalyn P. M. Benjamin Poindexter Stewart (aka Lyn).
This sad event occurred on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the Piedmont Newnan Hospital in Newnan, Georgia, after a protracted illness.
Lyn leaves to celebrate her remarkable life her husband: Ezekiel Y. Stewart, Her children: Stewart Charles Poindexter II and Malcolm Emile Poindexter, her mother: Emily McClain Benjamin, her siblings: Frank Leslie, Hubert Walcott, Jr. (aka Hue), Harriet Claudine, James Edward (aka JE) (Florence), Debra Estene (aka Peaches), Sheila Victoria (aka Vikki), Cleopatra Denise, Hassan Carl, Emile John Kish, James Robert, Albert Walcott and scores of other family members and friends in Liberia, Antigua, England, the United States, St. Thomas and other countries.
Lyn was predeceased by her father Hubert Walcott Benjamin, Sr.
